    North Island Hospital Comox Valley


A state-of-the-art hospital opened in October 2017 to meet the needs of the Comox Valley.  The 39,800 square metre (approximately 428,400 square foot) Comox Valley Hospital has 153 acute care beds, replacing the 120 bed St. Joseph's General hospital.  This provides residents and visitors with enhanced acute care delivery, more comfort and privacy for patients and world-class health care facilities.
